Jaymel’s collaboration with Chapley Retail Group (CRG) marked a significant milestone in energy efficiency and customer experience enhancement for Foodland.

• Energy Efficiency Breakthrough: By replacing outdated APAC units with cutting-edge Temperzone ECONEX PRO rooftop package units, CRG achieved substantial reductions in energy consumption and operating costs. The new system, featuring four-stage inverter compressors and Economy Cycle functionality, ensures optimal energy usage and minimal maintenance costs.
• Fresh Air Revolution: The installation of six Climate Wizard CW-H15S indirect evaporative coolers revolutionized air quality in back-of-house areas. Conditioned, fresh air now stabilizes temperatures across kitchens, bars, and the shopping floor, significantly enhancing the shopping experience.
• Seamless Installation: Jaymel’s strategic planning ensured a smooth transition. Within two days, the team decommissioned the original machines, installed the new equipment, and re-energized the system—all without disrupting Foodland’s operations or customer experience.
• Innovative BMS Integration: The new Building Management System (BMS) was designed to optimize energy management, improve air quality, and ensure maximum operational efficiency, aligning with CRG’s sustainability goals.
• Meticulous Execution: Key aspects included:
  • Two after-hours crane lifts to replace equipment without affecting trading.
  • Prefabrication of support frames and rooftop ductwork based on precise site measurements.
  • Electrical and control upgrades to support the advanced systems.
